Report an outage
Emergency service line 1236, only life threatening events – 224 919 473, is a specialised unit, which provides for non-stop clearing of electricity supply failures in the territory of Prague and Roztoky reported over the phone. At the same time it carries out selected services:
- Receiving reports of electricity supply failures in the PREdistribuce equipment;
- Providing information on the progress of renewing electricity supply;
- Receiving reports on emergency events in the external equipment; with a risk of threats to life or large-scale damages;
- Receiving reports on failures of ripple control (HDO) and electricity meters;
- Receiving requests for connection of short-time consumption;
- Providing information on the planned switching, including customer transformer stations.
What you shall know before calling us
Failure can be removed easier if you yourself try to find the fault location. You can do so with the assistance of our brief instruction, if there is no expert available nearby. Here we have to emphasize that currently PRE removes only failures in distribution networks; the building owner removes breakdowns of internal installation.
Therefore try to find out
- Status of the main switch in front of the meter, or check whether the protections of individual circuits in the apartment are functioning;
- Whether any alternating current electric appliance (elevator, water pump or alternating current cooker) is installed in the house, and if yes, whether it works;
- Whether the same problem occurred also in the neighbouring building;
- Whether the public lighting is on.
In order to speed up location of the failure we need to know
- Your surname and name;
- Precise address (district, street, description and orientation number);
- Telephone number, on which we can contact you
