There is growing interest in electromobility in the Capital City. So the Prague power company workers continue to construct an infrastructure and have put the eighth charging station into operation. This is available in the garages of the Europark Štěrboholy shopping centre.

Pražská energetika, a. s. (PRE) in cooperation with various partners has managed to built eight charging stations since the first station was put into operation in the Chodov shopping centre in February this year. The latest is available to customers in the garages of the Europark Štěrboholy shopping centre. The electricity is still free of charge at all the charging points. "We have supplied more than one megawatt hour of electricity for electric cars since February. The most frequent charging point is Chodov, then Černý Most and the Slovan garages in the city centre. Most of the electricity was consumed by drivers in March and then in June and August," stated PRE press spokesman Petr Holubec. The number of charging stations will continue to increase.
