PRE Museum

The Technical and Documentary Museum of Prague Energy outlines the history of the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity since the early 20th century to the present day.

Enthusiasts from the professional and lay public will find an extensive exhibition covering almost 500 m2 that contains everything from high and low voltage equipment to records documenting the history of the electrification of Prague.

The PRE Museum has been housed in the grounds of the 110 kV substation in Prague’s district of Holešovice since 2009.

Visiting days:
TUESDAY and THURSDAY from 8 am to 3 pm
Tours begin at 8.00 am, 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.
